September 24, 2024 — During the South Dakota Emergency Management Association (SDEMA) Annual Conference, Robert Hill, CEM, EM Director, Brookings County, SD (left), was elected President, and Steve Esser, Director of Emergency Service, Custer County, SD (right), was elected Incoming President. September 13 – Bob Goldhammer, CEM represented IAEM at a meeting in Munich. He is IAEM's representative to the American Meteorological Society Emergency Management Subcommittee and attended the HIWeather Final Conference from September 9-13, 2024.

September 3 – In Alexandria, Virginia, IAEM’s Beth Armstrong (L) and Thad Huguley (2nd from R) caught up with BCEM Executive Director Ron Prater (2nd from L) and NEMA Deputy Director Matt Cowles (R) to make plans for upcoming conferences.
August 2024 – Congratulations to IAEM-USA First Vice President Josh Morton (L) and IAEM-Latin America President Gus Reina (R) on graduating from FEMA's National Emergency Management Executive Academy!
May 9 – IAEM-USA leadership hosted the third IAEM Virtual Happy Hour, where they discussed upcoming events and programs within IAEM. Nearly 30 participants attended the event.
April 26 – IAEM-USA Region 3 President Erik Gaull, CEM, presented an IAEM R3 Lifetime Achievement Award to Matthew Butler, the EM at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
